1. Hamilton

2. Bruce Peninsula National Park

Located near the town of Tobermory, Bruce Peninsula National Park is a sight to behold, and must be added to your list. No, seriously, go grab a pen and write this place down.
Surrounded by the waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, the Bruce Peninsula (also known as the Saugeen Peninsula) is located along the Niagara Escarpment. 3. Prince Edward County

Prince Edward County has lots to offer you this spring! Located just two hours away from Toronto, this area encompasses two stunning parks. Sandbanks Provincial Park and Presqu’ile Provincial Park have incredible sandy beaches, campsites, hiking, and bicycle trails to enjoy.
During your time in Prince Edward County, take advantage of its famous vineyards and wineries. There are over 35 wineries in the county, so you’ll have tons of options to consider.
4. Lake Superior Provincial Park
Location: Wawa, Ontario
With 130 km of hiking trails and 150 km of maintained canoe routes, Lake Superior Provincial Park is one of the biggest parks in Ontario, and provides visitors with plenty of activities to choose from.
If you’re a fan of fishing, Lake Superior Provincial Park should be at the top of your list! The park boasts a brook trout fishery, plus opportunities for visitors to catch salmon, lake trout, and rainbow trout. There are 163 backcountry campsites divided across 76 zones, many of which have metal fire pits for all you s’mores lovers.
Whether you want to partake in an easy day trip, or embark on a multi-day adventure along the spectacular coast of Lake Superior, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
5. Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens
Location: Niagara, Ontario
Visit Niagara Parks’ Botanical Gardens to bask in 99 acres of award-winning landscapes, featuring lush gardens and vibrant seasonal blooms. Many gardens are conveniently located along walking trails and through the arboretum. This easy access makes the botanical gardens the perfect place to sit back and take in the views while enjoying a picnic.
