We’re thrilled to announce that ApplyBoard has been named CIX’S 2022 Innovator of the Year!
Announced on June 16, this great honour is a reflection of ApplyBoard’s seven-year growth and success in breaking down barriers for international students as part of our mission to Educate the World.
What is CIX?
CIX (Canadian Innovation Exchange) is Canada’s largest startup curation program and investment conference. Each year, CIX gives their Innovator of the Year Award to a Canadian company which “disrupts and transforms an industry in profound ways.” Past recipients have included Trulioo, Miovision, Lightspeed, ecobee, Wattpad, Shopify, and Desire2Learn.
What This Means for ApplyBoard
Martin Basiri, Co-Founder and CEO of ApplyBoard, will accept the award and participate in a keynote fireside chat at the CIX Summit in Toronto on November 1.
The Honourable Mary Ng, Canada’s Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, has been invited to present the award.
In the official press release, Martin elaborates on what this award means for ApplyBoard.
