Welcome to Life at ApplyBoard

ApplyBoard was founded on a mission of educating the world. Over the last four years, we’ve revolutionized the study abroad application process, helping thousands of international students pursue their academic dreams. Our platform makes it easy for students to apply to thousands of high schools, colleges, and universities in North America. We remove barriers and make sure students are matched with study programs that fit their goals and interests.

The truth is, ApplyBoard is more than just a service. While we’ve greatly expanded our company over the last year – and recently locked down $55 million in Series B funding to help grow even more – none of it would have been possible without our awesome staff. With over 180 people worldwide, we pride ourselves on being just as diverse as the students we send to schools in Canada and the USA. It’s time we start sharing some of our own stories.

On Wednesdays, we wear pink – or whatever colour you like!

Today, we’re pleased to announce the launch of our Life at ApplyBoard blog. Consider it a ‘behind the scenes’ look at our company. In addition to discussions of our core values and culture, you’ll see stories and updates from across our company:

  • Updates from our ApplyCare social committee and how they’re making a difference
  • Thought Leadership from ApplyBoard CEO Martin Basiri
  • Team updates from Engineering, Customer Experience, and many others.

On the social media side, expect to see lots of photos from our ApplyFun Social events, dress-up days, trade show visits, and a whole lot more.

There’s a saying: a company is only as good as its people, and well … we have some awesome people! Stay tuned to this space to get to know our team better.

Oh, and if you’re interested in getting in on the fun yourself – we’re hiring! Take a look at the open positions on our careers page to see if there’s a role for you.
