Training in finance and economics helps students develop logical ways of thinking and problem solving, applicable to the business world and their personal lives. Students are trained to understand and analyze numerical data, draw logical conclusions and communicate the information to others. After gaining a foundation of micro and macroeconomics, students progress to public finance, financial markets and institutions, and/or international trade and finance.
