About Blyth Academy - Etobicoke

Blyth Academy was founded in 1977 as a private school board in Canada. Blyth Academy was a pioneer in the early years of education and adventure travel. Amongst various educational firsts, was the establishment of a Canadian high school in France, the Lycée Canadien en France. As well as a university campus, the Universite Canadienne En France, and the first accredited high school program on the campus of Oxford University.

Blyth Academy is Canada’s leading private school by enrollment. With average class sizes of seven, individuated teaching, and an experiential approach, Blyth Academy offers excellent university preparation. More than 98 percent of Blyth Academy graduates attend the universities and colleges of their first choice. Students have received admissions offers from some of the top universities in the world including Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and MIT.

Blyth Academy Etobicoke is the newest campus offering experiential private education for students in Grades 9 – 12 in Toronto’s west end. Conveniently located on Bloor Street West, it is steps away from the TTC and only 15 minutes from downtown Toronto. Easily accessible, Blyth Academy Etobicoke welcomes students from Etobicoke, Toronto, and the GTA. This brand-new campus facility provides students with the opportunity to learn within a bright, modern, and spacious environment specifically designed to allow for personalized learning in small classes. Classrooms are designed to encourage discussions in which every student is heard. Located in one of the city’s most vibrant neighbourhoods, there are plenty of opportunities for learning that extend beyond the walls of the classrooms. With experiential learning at the forefront of its approach to education, Blyth Academy Etobicoke students will access many local amenities including High Park, the Old Mill, the Swansea Community Recreation Centre, the Royal Ontario Museum, The Art Gallery of Ontario, Queen’s Park, and Runnymede Public Library.
