Located in the center of Metro Vancouver Regional District (also referred to as Great Vancouver), the Burnaby School District 41 offers the exciting opportunity for students from overseas to study in one of its 8 secondary or 41 elementary schools while experiencing a beautiful part of the world.

Burnaby is the 4th largest school district in BC. Burnaby School District has a total K-12 student population of 25,000 full-time equivalents (FTE) students. The District continues to promote the ideals of multiculturalism through its established policies and numerous school-based initiatives that promote cultural respect and understanding.

The Burnaby School District’s International Office facilitates the enrollment and integration of international students within Burnaby schools.

The Burnaby School District first opened its doors in 1906, with only 60 students and a few teachers. Since its beginnings, Burnaby administrators, teachers, and staff shared a common goal—to provide the highest standard of education to the community. Today, Burnaby is recognized as a leader in education in Canada.
