About Cardiff and Vale College - International Centre for Aerospace Training

Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC) is one of the largest colleges in the UK, delivering high quality education and training within the Capital Region of Wales.

CAVC has more than 30,000 learners each year across full-time and part-time college courses, university qualifications and apprenticeship programmes, along with dedicated training provision for employers. These programmes develop skilled and employable people, with some of the best student success rates in the sector and a focus on experiences that ensure that learners stand out and progress.

Why Cardiff and Vale College:

  • Location: CAVC is located in Cardiff, which was voted one of the safest and most affordable cities in the UK. Cardiff is a city of parks with more green space per person than any other UK core city. It's also surrounded by beautiful scenery with rugged coastline and mountains inland. It is a 2 hour commute from London, home to a bustling arts and cultural scene.
  • Campus Facilities: CAVC's City Centre Campus is the heart of the College. The £45 million facility was opened in 2015 by the First Minister and is home to a wide range of specialist facilities from the 100 seat Theatre Michael Sheen, the renowned fifth floor The Classroom restaurant, a unique city salon and spa, and over 230 top class teaching spaces.
  • Athletics: Sports play a large part in Cardiff life. The city is home to the Principality Stadium, which has hosted Olympic football, FA Cup Finals, and a UEFA Champions League Final.
