About Federation University - Gippsland

Federation University is one of Australia’s oldest universities. The University is known today for its modern approach to teaching and learning. For 150 years, Federation University has been reaching out to new communities, steadily building a generation of independent thinkers united in the knowledge that they are greater together.


The Gippsland Campus combines the best of what  regional campus life is all about – a welcoming community, innovative learning environment and excellent research facilities. Situated on 60 hectares of landscaped grounds and adjacent to the town of Churchill, it’s approximately two hours from Melbourne.
