The Halton Catholic District School Board (HCDSB) is a provincial leader in academic achievement, consistently achieving higher than the provincial average EQAO scores. HCDSB provides exceptional education to over 35,000 students across our 10 secondary and 45 elementary Catholic schools.

The Halton Catholic District School Board is located in the prestigious Halton Region, which has been consecutively ranked (2009-2017) as the Safest Large Region in Canada by Statistics Canada CSI Reports. Halton Region is conveniently located close to Toronto, and offers students countless opportunities for entertainment, recreation, and education.

School staff are asked to nominate any graduating International Students who they believe meet the criteria for various scholarships.
  • Advanced Placement (AP) Program: Advanced Placement (AP) courses offer university-level content to students at the Grade 12 level. Students in AP courses study topics in greater depth, enhancing their intellectual development. Students in the AP Program have experienced tremendous success, both at the secondary and post-secondary school level. HCDSB's high-achieving AP students consistently score above the Ontario, Canadian and Global exam score averages.
