Why Lambton Kent District School Board - Elementary Schools

  • Small Classes and English Immersion Environment: Lambton Kent's average class sizes are about 25 students, ensuring that every special need of every student could be met appropriately. The ratio of international to Canadian students in the schools is very low, providing an opportunity for a “true” Canadian experience.
  • Quality Education and ESL Support: Lambton Kent provides each of its students a top-quality educational program, along with full ESL (English as a Second Language) support as necessary. Students will be welcomed into the schools and community as they learn the Canadian customs and acquire the necessary English skills needed for academic success.
  • Character Development: Character development calls for every student to be their personal best, to be self-aware, to exercise self-discipline within themselves, and to demonstrate empathy and understanding toward others. These attributes will help students establish and maintain quality relationships, and in conjunction with respect, responsibility, and fairness, allow Lambton Kent schools to continue to be safe places to be and learn.
