About Merrimack College

One of the fastest-growing educational institutions in the country, Merrimack College is a selective, private college in a beautiful, residential setting — just minutes from Boston. The college was founded in 1947 and features more than 100 career-focused undergraduate and graduate programs, all taught by exceptional faculty who are passionate about their subject and student success.


The College offers programs in liberal arts, science and engineering, business, health sciences, and education and social policy. The only Catholic Augustinian College in New England, Merrimack College is an independent, co-educational institution located on a 220-acre campus. Approximately 73% of undergraduate students live on campus; some 85% of first-year students. The College has over 4,000 undergraduate and 1,400 graduate students from 40 states and 38 countries.
