About New England College

New England College (NEC) is a well-respected liberal arts college where students come first. The college is nestled in the quiet town of Henniker, New Hampshire. Henniker is 30 minutes from Manchester, the state’s largest city and 90 minutes from Boston. At New England College, faculty see themselves as mentors giving students the confidence and hands-on experience to excel in their degrees and future career.

New England College’s five-semester calendar enables students to accelerate their program to achieve an undergraduate degree in three years and, potentially, leave the college with a master's degree in four years.

New England College offers an excellent selection of programs in data analytics, cybersecurity, business and healthcare. Students can discover their popular health sciences program, outdoor education strengthened by their Adventure Bound club and environmental sustainability with nearby New Hampshire Forest. On campus, students are encouraged to set their sights on their dreams. Staff and faculty take the extra step to check in with students, giving them the encouragement needed to continue to pursue their ambitions. Culture and nature collide to provide students with a rich college experience for studying abroad.

Why New England College

  • Henniker Campus: The campus in Henniker, New Hampshire, is 15 minutes from Concord (the State capital), 30 minutes from Manchester (the State’s largest city), and 90 minutes from Boston. This 220-acre campus is full of natural beauty and outdoor activities.
  • Services and facilities: New England College is home to facilities that rival any small college in the United States. The center of campus life is the colonial-style Simon Center, which houses essential campus resources and student-run programs like the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE). The CCE runs a town hall and speaker series that brings presidential candidates and other high-profile speakers to campus for exciting debates. Our Center for Educational Innovation (CEI) is a state-of-the-art building equipped with the latest in educational technology for future teachers.
  • Activities: There is always something to do at NEC! Free skiing and snowboarding at Pats Peak, award-winning NCAA III athletics teams, ropes courses, on-campus trails, intramural sports, and more than 40 student clubs and organizations means students will have plenty of chances to meet new people and try new things.
  • Internships and study away: Numerous internship opportunities in real-world jobs have allowed NEC students to live what they learn. The College believes that the world is a student's classroom, and their professor-led trips combine classroom learning and real-world application. Students can travel around the world over winter or spring break at no extra cost. The trip is already included in their tuition.
