Niagara Catholic District School Board (NCDSB) - Notre Dame College School

The Holy Cross Fathers founded Notre Dame College School, a Catholic high school in the Diocese of St. Catharines. In conjunction with the Niagara Catholic District School Board, its mission is to offer secondary students education within the values, teachings, and traditions of the Catholic Church. Essential to its mission, is to awaken within students their vocations as daughters and sons of God and present clearly the challenge facing every Christian to work for the building of the Reign of God. Notre Dame strives to create an educational community in which cognitive, moral, affective, and spiritual growth is promoted and in which the giftedness of each student is celebrated.

• Extracurricular activities: Notre Dame College School has many opportunities for students to get involved in the school. Represent the Irish Spirit through any of the athletic teams offered at Notre Dame. Help make a change in the school or within the community by joining one or more of the many clubs offered at Notre Dame. Gather up some friends and form a team to compete and earn points during the lunch hours through the Intramural Sports Program.
• Academics: The academic needs of students at Notre Dame are in great hands with a solid line-up of course choices and an exceptional teaching staff. Great care is taken in developing new courses to meet the needs of students in a challenging new global economy while maintaining the tradition of strong core course offerings in the fundamentals.
