About North Central College
Located in Naperville, Illinois, North Central College was founded in 1861, during the American Civil War. The College was called Plainfield College then, and they were one of the few colleges welcoming women as well as men. From the very beginning North Central set themselves apart as an institution committed to wisdom as well as knowledge. For over 150 years, North Central has been a place where new ideas lead to unlimited possibilities.
