About Regis College

Regis is a co-educational, non-profit university in Weston, Massachusetts, 12 miles west of Boston. 3200 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students from all 50 states in the U.S and from 13 countries around the world have chosen Regis to pursue their educational and professional goals. Regis was founded in 1927 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston—a Catholic order that started a school within four days of arriving in Boston from France. The Sisters’ mission of providing access to an education based on Christian values and of striving for excellence tempered with gentleness endures on campus to this day.

Regis is a welcoming and inclusive community, drawing inspiration from the social justice values of its founders. Providing access to an academically rigorous education through innovative learning opportunities and collaborative engagement at all degree levels, Regis aims to educate the whole person. Small classes, knowledgeable faculty, and a multitude of events and activities from arts and athletics to clubs and campus ministry are just a few of the ways Regis delivers an exceptional experience.

Regis offers degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate level in the schools of Nursing, Arts and Sciences, Business and Communication, and Health Sciences. Students in Regis’ School of Arts and Sciences benefit from a strong foundation in the liberal arts that blends theory with practical experience, while Regis School of Business and Communication students represent the future leaders and entrepreneurs of regional, national, and global industry. Students admitted to Regis’ School of Health Sciences participate in programs that offer education in health administration, medical imaging, public health, social work, and more. Students in Regis’ nationally recognized Young School of Nursing learn in state-of-the art simulations labs and at clinicals at nearby hospitals and medical centers.

Regis is committed to making an investment in their students’ potential and success, which is why all accepted undergraduate international students are automatically considered for merit scholarships, ranging from $18,000-$28,000 toward tuition. Resident Grants are also available to international undergraduates who live on campus.

Weston is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, about 15 miles west of downtown Boston. In 2020, the population of Weston was 11,851. Weston's character as a residential community is reflected in its population density, which is among the lowest of Boston's suburbs. More than 2,000 acres, or 18 percent of the town's total acreage, have been preserved as parks, fields, wetlands, and forests, with 90 miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing. Thirty-seven scenic roads, as defined by Massachusetts law, maintain the town's aesthetic value and historical significance, affording Weston a semi-rural ambiance. Weston also boasts an array of cultural amenities, including, but not limited to, the Weston Public Library, Weston Art and Innovation Center, Weston Media Center, Weston Friendly Society,  and the Weston Drama Workshop.
