About Southwestern College
Southwestern College, the only public institution of higher education in southern San Diego County, provides services to a diverse community of students by providing a wide range of dynamic and high quality academic programs and comprehensive student services, including those offered through distance education. The College also stimulates the development and growth of the region through its educational, economic and workforce opportunities, community partnerships and services.

- Campus Life: The Chula Vista Campus is Southwestern College's largest campus and has a number of events and student services for students to enjoy and take advantage of. Students can get involved in the Associated Student Organization, numerous Student Activities, and can rely on their campus to provide them with high quality foods and exceptional customer service in a clean and safe environment.
- Athletics: Southwestern College is home to the Jaguars, which hosts a variety of sports teams across men's and women's teams. Men's teams include a variety of sports: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, swimming & diving, track & field, and water polo. Women's teams are basketball, cheer, cross country, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, track & field, tennis, volleyball, and water polo. The Southwestern College Athletic Department is committed to meeting the educational goals of its student-athletes in an environment that promotes growth and develops human potential.
