Tamwood Career College - Vancouver

Founded in 1993, by owners Tamsin Plaxton and Mathew Collingwood, Tamwood runs three divisions and manages a sister company that together offers a range of educational, vacation, work, and travel programs, and other services and support to ensure students learn new skills. These programs help them to expand existing abilities, discover talents they didn't know they had and forever transform themselves in wonderful ways they can barely imagine.

Tamwood Careers exists to serve the educational, personal, cultural and career aspirations of its students. Tamwood's objective is to provide students with opportunities to expand their horizons and be more through institutional and cooperative educational experiences designed to challenge and encourage personal and professional growth.

With Tamwood Work and Study programs, students will gain work experience in Canada, make strategic connections in their industry, and develop skills to enhance their resume and launch their career. Students will be taught by instructors and guest speakers with real-world knowledge. And, by studying at Tamwood, students can apply for admission with advanced standing to on of their academic pathway partners. Upon completion of their program at the pathway partner college/university, students will be eligible for a Post-Grad Work Permit. These programs have been approved by the Private Training Instructors Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training.
