About University of Surrey International Study Centre

At the University of Surrey International Study Centre students can pursue programs for a range of interests from creative arts, to business, sciences and engineering. Each program introduces students to the UK style of teaching while raising students' academic skills, English language level and study skills. The International Foundation Year and the Pre-Masters each offer a choice of three academic routes. Once a student completes their program and achieves the required grades, they can start their degree at the University of Surrey.

The University of Surrey was established in 1966 via Royal Charter, and currently boasts a community of over 16,000 students, and more than 6,000 international students. With a beautiful and vibrant campus, the University provides exceptional teaching and practical learning to inspire and empower students for personal and professional success. Top subjects include: Modern Languages and Linguistics, Engineering (Electronic and Electrical), Sociology, Veterinary Science, Music, Chemistry, Criminology, Food Science, Nursing, and Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism.

They will also have access to additional resources available at the International Study Centre.
  • Personal Monitoring and Support: Students will receive specialist support during their studies, as well as regular assessments to monitor their progress, including examinations and coursework. Tutorial sessions will give students the opportunity to get individual feedback from their tutor and discuss anything that's worrying them.
  • Progression to Degree: Once students have successfully completed their preparation programme and met the progression criteria, they can begin their chosen university degree.
