Upper Madison College is a premium language institution dedicated to providing quality language instruction and certified to have attained top quality education. Upper Madison College was established in 2004 in Toronto with the vision of creating an educational institution that provides not only quality language instruction but also builds up students to become compassionate people who give back to the world. Students from all over the world choose UMC for its accredited curriculum, certified teachers and exciting atmosphere.
UMC's institution offers a unique learning opportunity where learning and acquisition of language skills are the foundation for confidence to give back to the community. Students come from Brazil, Spain, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, China, Ecuador and many other countries. Teachers and students work together to build a dynamic and compassionate environment through small-sized classes maximizing the learning experience. - Commitment to Excellence: Upper Madison College is committed to educational excellence and the learning of students. UMC is the bridge to all nations and students are the connection among people. UMC has a Languages Canada accredited ESL program, teachers and curriculum.
- Pathway to College and University: UMC's program is recognized by several different colleges and universities in Canada. The pathway programs allow students to go to college or university without providing a proficiency test score such as TOEFL or IETLS.
- Small Class Sizes: UMC keeps classes small to ensure that students have the best learning environment to allow them to thrive. Maximum 10 students for ESL classes and 15 students in specialized classes.
- Opportunities to Practice English: UMC participates in Community Involvement and Volunteer Programs which provide students the chance to contribute to their community, while improving their ability to communicate. UMC also offers free conversational clubs weekly.
