About Westfield Secondary School

Westfield Secondary School is an independent secondary school committed to high standards of scholarship, citizenship, and personal responsibility. Westfield Secondary School provides a fine balance between a liberal arts and progressive education. Experiential learning is combined with analytical and creative thinking. Real world connections solidify classroom work and provide context.

The mission of Westfield Education is to bring prestigious Ontario education and Ontario Teacher expertise to the international community, through the energies and dedication of Westfield Education, its Staff and its partners. Students will profit from its educational rich proficiencies. Westfield currently accepts all students from grades 9 to grade 12 and Pre-University. A personalized education is provided with small class size - good for International students to improve their language skills quickly, and also help them to catch up with their lessons easily.

Westfield Secondary School employs classroom teachers that are certified by the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) only. These teachers are considered to be the best in Ontario and coveted by many other counties. Understandably, there are circumstances that present themselves and do not allow for an OCT. Westfield's expertise spans from secondary school (Grade 9 to Grade 12) and into post-secondary school (University and College). This includes administration, programming, curriculum design, staff development, guidance and post-secondary liaison.

Westfield has delved beyond (through our affiliates, Westfield Language School and Westfield Learning Centre), into such non-credit programs as, specialized intense English Language Proficiency courses, IELTS/TOFEL, SAT examination preparatory programs, small group programs, Taekwondo martial arts and Canadian cultural activities and more.

The vision is to bring all the aforesaid courses, programs and experiences to international communities that embrace Westfield Secondary School, and further strengthen its mission’s position. In order to completely realize this vision, Westfield will add on-line credit courses that are currently in the making through a potential on-line high school partnership.
