About Dual Program - College Diploma - Film Production & Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA)
Students can combine the Toronto Film School Film Production diploma + Yorkville University Bachelor of Creative Arts dual degree pathway to receive both a creative arts diploma and creative arts degree at the end of their studies!
Film Production diploma program offers hands-on experience in all stages of filmmaking, guided by industry professionals. Students can combine the Toronto Film School Film Production diploma with the Yorkville University Bachelor of Creative Arts degree, earning both a diploma and degree upon completion.
Students will gain hands-on experience in writing, directing, producing, shooting, and editing films. The program covers all aspects of filmmaking, including screenplay writing and analysis, developing storyboards, creating shot lists, and preparing budgets and schedules. Students will also learn how to shoot, direct, block, light scenes, capture audio, and manipulate footage during post-production.
Extend the Diploma with a Bachelor of Creative Arts Degree
Graduates of the Film Production diploma program can extend their education with a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree from Yorkville University. This degree completion program is designed for students who have already completed a specialized diploma in the creative arts and equips them with the advanced business and leadership skills needed to succeed in the creative industries. Students will also gain a comprehensive understanding of the creative industry, including talent management, project budgeting, financial planning, and more.
Through the articulation agreement with Yorkville University, eligible students can complete their BCA degree in as few as 15 months while working, gaining expertise in programming gameplay, managing projects, and leading productions.
*International students are eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) upon graduation.
*Note: The BCA program requires the prior completion of an acceptable post-secondary diploma in the creative arts, such as those offered by the Toronto Film School. For more details, please consult an admissions advisor.

Tuition Schedule (with $29,500 bursary) - ApplyBoard bursary of $10,000 over twelve terms, Yorkville bursary of $19,500 over final six terms
