Understanding human thought and behavior - the essence of psychology - is crucial for success in any field. Adelphi undergraduate psychology majors develop the knowledge, analytical abilities and experience to excel in fields as varied as education, healthcare and business. Undergraduates regularly collaborate with each other and with faculty members on original research.

Begin the learning process by creating a strategic plan that focuses on their career goals. With the help of one of our faculty advisers, they can determine whether that plan should include non-psychology courses, for instance, and they can also choose the courses that are most applicable to their discipline. Just know that every student must complete 41 credits in psychology, and these courses generally follow a defined sequence.
