Direct Master's Accelerator - Master of Science - Business Analytics (STEM)

The Direct Master’s Accelerator (Direct MAP) is a one-semester program designed specifically for international students who possess an advanced level of English-language proficiency. It provides the academic, cultural, and professional support necessary for success in graduate programs at Adelphi University. As Direct MAP students, they will earn a semester’s worth of credits toward their degree while benefiting from additional professional and research courses tailored to their needs and goals.

The field of business analytics is growing at a tremendous pace. With a master’s degree in this exciting field, students will be trained to optimize business results in companies around the globe, focusing on marketing, finance, supply chain, healthcare, and more. This master's degree in business analytics prepares graduates for roles as data scientists, data analysts, machine learning analysts, business intelligence analysts, data analytics consultants, or operations analysts. The program is a 30-credit curriculum that can be completed in one year of full-time study, laying the foundation for pursuing a PhD in analytics.

Students will stand out to future employers as highly competitive data scientists with rigorous training in a STEM-designated degree program, earning their MSBA degree at their own pace—either full or part-time. They will benefit from an innovative teaching approach that integrates data from multiple sources and emphasizes close collaboration with faculty in classes of 15 students or fewer.

Students will gain hands-on experience with the latest data tools, including R, Python, and Tableau, learning how to apply machine learning, text analytics, and artificial intelligence in any organization or industry.
