Master of Science - Civil, Environmental and Sustainable Engineering - Environmental

The Civil Engineering program at Arizona State University emphasizes sustainability as an integrated approach to engineering that focuses on the long-lasting improvement of the human condition.

The Environmental Engineering program has two general themes: environmental processes occurring in arid regions of the world and multidisciplinary sustainability related projects to address societal issues in developing urban environments. We look at the unique aspects of air and water pollution and sustainable development. Some of our ongoing research that has attracted national funding is in the areas of sustainable engineering of urban systems, environmental biotechnology and environmental nanotechnology.

You can be a part of local, national and international research efforts to promote safe and sustainable development including transportation, water resources, buildings and other man-made structures.
