Undergraduate Foundation Programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at Aston University. All students who successfully complete the Undergraduate Foundation Programme are guaranteed progression* on a suitable programme of undergraduate study at Aston University. The Undergraduate Foundation Programme is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the UK.
History and Politics programme offers a well-rounded combination of historical and political exploration with practical experiences like field trips to historical sites and hands-on research in local archives.
The programme delves into topics such as nationalism, state-building, war and peace, religious conflicts, and globalization's historical context. Within the politics segment, students will explore topics such as security, political economy, democratization, ethics, sports, gender, protests and religion.
