Undergraduate Foundation Programme is designed to prepare international students, who have completed senior secondary education, for entry to undergraduate studies at Aston University. All students who successfully complete the Undergraduate Foundation Programme are guaranteed progression* on a suitable programme of undergraduate study at Aston University. The Undergraduate Foundation Programme is set at level 3, which is equivalent to A-level standard in the UK.
Neuroscience enables students to explore the development and function of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system and ask important questions about what makes us think and feel, how our brains process information and what brain cells and synapses do.
As a neuroscientist, they will take an interdisciplinary approach, investigating the brain using many different approaches: from mathematics to molecular biology and from artificial intelligence to electrophysiology.
