About Master's Accelerator - Master of Science - Chemical Engineering

The Master’s Accelerator Program is a two-semester program exclusively offered to aspirational international students. Master’s Accelerator students benefit from comprehensive support and language for discipline-specific purposes. The curriculum will include advanced writing, public speaking, and research instruction. Each course is designed to help ensure success at Auburn. The small class sizes, hands-on and interactive programs, and unique curriculum are designed to help students progress seamlessly into their master’s degree program. Master’s Accelerator students will be enrolled as full-time students during both semesters of the Master’s Accelerator Program and will earn 9 credits toward their selected degree.

The Department of Chemical Engineering offers a challenging curriculum that encourages students to solve real-world problems relating to energy, medicine, nanotechnology or sustainability with engineering practices and scientific foundations. Chemical engineers take what we can't see and transform them into usable, safe and sustainable products for home and industrial use. Graduates become pioneers for better, more efficient solutions to both everyday challenges and global issues.

The Department of Chemical Engineering takes great pride in providing the best possible educational experience for all of their graduate students. By combining broad fundamental understanding, as found in the core courses, with specialized skills obtained in elective courses, the foundation for a successful research experience is guaranteed. At each level of the graduate program experience, there is close collaboration between the students and the faculty.
