Professional communication skills are increasingly in demand across all aspects of the workforce. The Information Specialist Concentration will allow students to earn those skills through this program. This program will provide students with hands on experience from the very first day of their classes. They learn all aspects of professional communication practice, including, public relations, professional writing, social media marketing, and media relations. This program aims to help students build their portfolio.

The faculty have decades of collective experience in the professional communication industry. Learn from faculty with experiences including: PR manager, department administrator, social media manager, journalist, news producer, filmmaker, and podcast producer.
