2-Semester Pathway in Education - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Early Childhood Studies

Foundation is an entry point that comes before the first year of university. By studying a foundation, students will gain a solid understanding of their chosen subject as well as the required skills for study at a UK university. Upon successful completion of foundation, they will progress directly to first year or to international year one

Students  will develop the skills, knowledge and experience to work effectively in meeting the needs of babies and young children from 0 to 8 years old. Placement opportunities are available across all three years of the degree and can include the following:

• Early years settings (nurseries)
• Primary schools
• Health and social care sectors (i.e. hospitals or home visits).
