About 2-Semester Pathway in Film and Technology - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Visual Effects
Foundation is an entry point that comes before the first year of university. By studying a foundation, students will gain a solid understanding of their chosen subject as well as the required skills for study at a UK university. Upon successful completion of foundation, they will progress directly to first year or to international year one
Students will develop the following technical, creative and production skills needed to succeed in the industry:
- Modelling
- Rigging
- Animation
- Lighting
- Rendering
- Compositing
They will learn using a Vicon Motion Capture studio, industry-standard software such as Maya, Nuke and Houdini, and one of the largest fixed green screen studios in the UK.
