About Bachelor of Science - Anthropology - Archaeology
Archaeology is the study of past human behavior through the analysis of material remains. Archaeology is a diverse field, and archaeologists often specialize in specific geographic areas, time periods, methodologies, and/or material types. Most professional archaeologists today work in cultural resource management (CRM) for government agencies, non-profit organizations, or private consulting firms. Archaeologists also work in education or research at colleges, universities, and museums. This emphasis is designed to train students in the science of archaeology, including basic field techniques (excavation and survey), data collection and analysis, theory, and legislation.
