Bachelor of Science - Ethnic Studies

Ethnic Studies is an interdisciplinary major and minor that seeks to understand how society is systemically and structurally formed by ideas of race, ethnicity, sexuality, class, and gender. This program provides a wide-range of methodological and critical approaches (intersectionality, relationality, anti-racism, feminism, etc.). Students are also able to examine the historical and contemporary experiences of people from a variety of origins.

Courses offered focus on people from the United States, Latin America, Africa, the Basque Country, Asia, the Middle East and other populations.
