2.5-Term Pathway - Pre-Masters for Business, Law or Finance - Continue to Master of Arts - Advertising

For entry to a postgraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

This course will allow students to develop the skills needed to lead brands in meeting the demands of consumers to address urgent social and environmental challenges. The course offers students the opportunity to achieve the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) Foundation Certificate, the base-level qualification for anyone who wants to work in an IPA member agency. The course will give students a clear appreciation of the strategic dimensions of advertising and the management of creativity. Upon completing this course, students will possess the skills and knowledge to develop valuable insights using a range of advertising research and evaluation techniques.
