2-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Business, Law or Finance - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Ecology and Wildlife Conservation

For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

There’s a growing demand for professionals with skills in wildlife protection, biodiversity conservation and ecosystem management. This course will give students a solid scientific grounding in the science of ecology and how it can be used to conserve species. This course integrates a variety of teaching methods including lectures, laboratory based practical sessions, field exercises, group activities and research projects for both theoretical and reflection-based learning. Students will also be involved in a field research skills week of practical exercises and group-based research within the local environment.
