2-Term Pathway - Pre-Masters for Media and Communications - Continue to Master of Arts - International Political Communication

For entry to a postgraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

Students get to develop an advanced understanding of the issues and debates surrounding political communication, focusing on areas such as diplomacy, campaigning, reporting and media effects contextualised within the 21st Century communication and media environment. Students benefit from a long list of guest speakers from the industry; this includes NGOs, opinion poll companies, market research and communication specialists, political communication consultants, public relations professionals, politicians, speechwriters and others.
