About International Student Entry (ISEP) - English for Academic Studies
Program Description
The International Student Entry Program (ISEP) is an academic English language program that prepares students for success at BCIT, and helps them to meet the English requirements of a full-time BCIT Program.
ISEP has seven levels: Foundations 1 and 2, and Technical Academic English (TAE) 1-5. Each level takes one term (7 weeks) to complete. If a student starts at the lowest level, it will take them at least 14 months to finish ISEP. There are two classes in each level: Listening/Speaking and Reading/Writing. Students are in class 20 hours per week. To succeed at ISEP, students should have some previous experience studying English.
