Bachelor of Arts - Music - Music Education

Students are considering a career as a music educator, they can consider the Music Education program at Chico State. It prepares students to meet the challenges of teaching through a combination of courses and field experiences.

Graduates leave the program with the preparation needed to enter the Credential Program as well as the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the K-12 music classroom.

The music education faculty have a wealth of experience working in various school settings, and they are all active in state and national education organizations. The award-winning student chapter of the Music Educators National Association will give students the opportunity to expand their school experiences beyond the University through attendance at conventions and in-service projects.
