Actuarial Science Concentration is the newest concentration created in the Department of Mathematics. Undoubtedly, it is the fastest growing concentration! Currently, there are only three programs in California recognized as Universities and Colleges with Actuarial Programs – Advanced Curriculum (UCAP - AC) by the Society of Actuaries, and CSUF proudly represents one of them. This designation means that the program has courses, approved the Society of Actuaries, that target at least four different actuarial exams.
Student passing rates for these exams are higher than the national averages. These results reflect the quality of the programs and the effectiveness of the no-cost preparation workshops offered to students every summer.

Actuaries analyze the financial costs of risk and uncertainty. They use mathematics, statistics, and financial theory to assess the risk of potential events, and they help businesses and clients develop policies that minimize the cost of that risk. Actuaries’ work is essential to the insurance industry.
Actuaries are highly sought-after professionals who develop and communicate solutions for complex financial issues. Most actuaries work for insurance companies. Although most work full time in an office setting, some actuaries who work as consultants may travel to meet with clients.
This Guaranteed Outcome Program guarantees admission to a Top universities. Students first enroll at California State University, Fullerton where they will take undergraduate degree courses alongside American students. Kings staff are on campus to support students at all times.
Student have 3 options to choose from during the 4 year bachelor degree
Option 1: After completing Year 1, students can choose to stay at California State University and complete the remaining 3 years at the same campus. This is an ideal option if a student would prefer to stay on the same campus for the whole of your degree, is seeking a flexible pathway to a reputable public university degree, want the most cost-effective degree, and is looking for a less research-based university.
Option 2: After completing Year 1, student have the option to choose from 23 campuses for degree transfer.
Option 3: After 2 years at Cal State Fullerton, students can transfer to complete their degree at the University of California or another Top 100 US university.
King's expert university advisors will help students develop their student profile, making the transfer process straightforward. Upon successful transfer to a university, students will complete their degree at said university.
