About Master of Arts - Sustainability

The world needs solutions for energy crisis and the rising impact of climate change. While technology has advanced, there is also a need for leaders to craft new policies and encourage change.

Sustainability is now a division in nearly all large companies, universities and governments. With a master's in sustainability, students will be ready to lead in those positions.

Students will learn how to meet the needs of people and organizations without harming future generations. They will combine science with ethics to reduce waste and consumption. Learners will find novel ways to preserve natural resources and environments. With their degree, they will be a leader in government and the private sector at all levels.

Learners will be able to choose one of four specializations based on their interest and career goals.

  • Environmental Science, Water Resources and Technology: Master the technical skills needed to map, analyze and manage natural resources.
  • Community Well-Being and Social Justice: Learn the causes of inequities in communities. Address challenges in accessing healthcare and clean energy, air and water.
  • Corporate Sustainability: Study how to implement sustainable practices in businesses with financial and quantitative analysis.
  • Sustainability Policy and Government: Develop leadership skills to lead planning projects and developments that have sustainability-based goals.
