The BSc (Hons) in Business Management & Economics course with Foundation Year covers a wide range of theoretical and analytical subjects, as well as methods for analyzing real-world corporate and economic challenges. Business management and economic skills are interwoven, providing students with knowledge that will help them comprehend and critically assess business, finance, marketing, and accounting methods.

The university is one of the few in the UK offering direct access to Bloomberg data, information, and analytics in a dedicated trading room, which simulates the experience of working on a real trading floor in the financial district.

This course also offers the opportunity to include a professional placement year, allowing students to gain real-world experience in business. The university will assist students in finding suitable work placements, and they will receive tutorial support from an academic staff member throughout the year.

The foundation year is designed to broaden students' industry knowledge and facilitate progression to a related undergraduate degree. It aims to help them develop a strong foundation of business knowledge, alongside academic and transferable skills to ensure they get the most out of their degree-level studies.
