Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Computer Science

From web development and AI to Agile Development Software and UX design, this course will enable students to develop the vital skills needed for the tech industry and beyond.

Students will have the advantage of learning in the brand new Verena Holmes building. Using industry standard facilities and equipment, they’ll gain confidence working in a professional setting as they complete real-world projects. Students may also have the opportunity to work with companies outside of University, giving them an authentic and industry-driven experience before graduation.

Not only this, but students will be able to collaborate with the teaching staff who are heavily involved in cutting-edge active research. Those who're keen to get involved with exciting projects alongside their course, they’ll have the opportunity to expand their skills and experience with what’s going on around Canterbury Christ Church University.

On successful completion of this degree students will be strongly prepared for a role in many computing roles, specifically software engineering. The course very closely maps to commercial development and students will be fully prepared to move into a broad range of computing roles such as Scrum Master, Product Manager, Dev-Ops, UX-Designer and many more.
