About Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Finance with foundation year
With financial issues regularly making headline news, there is no better time to study finance. On this Finance with Foundation Year course students will analyse and explore contemporary developments and innovation in corporate finance, econometrics, financial decision making, financial analysis and financial markets.
Students will gain excellent preparation for a range of roles. Additionally, they'll have the chance to combine Finance with discipline-specific modules to give them the flexibility to pursue a range of roles requiring an understanding of finance.
The experienced team has created an engaging course which captures the diversity of finance, so they can develop an understanding of the national and global dimensions of this discipline.
The foundation year prepares students for study at degree level while giving them a solid grounding in the core aspects of finance and business.
Students will have the opportunity to learn the language of finance, discover the inner workings of the markets, and stand out to recruiters with "Bloomberg Certification" Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) on their CV. On completion of their studies, students will have the opportunity to apply for exemptions from major accounting bodies, such as ACCA, CISI, CIMA, & IFA and they'll develop specialist accounting knowledge, critical analysis and interpersonal skills during lectures, seminars, workshops and through a variety of assessments.
