The BSc in Politics and Global Sustainability reflects the needs of our time. The course reimagines the knowledge, skills, and attributes that are critical to creating a sustainable future for humanity and nature.
Students will examine questions that are integral to understanding contemporary politics, such as how to build a sustainable world that ensures fairness between generations, achieves class and gender equality, facilitates environmental restoration, and promotes peace within and between countries.
The program features an excellent and highly qualified teaching team that guides and supports students as they explore themes such as power, security, ethics, inequality, sustainability, leadership, development, governance, and justice. Innovative teaching methods, including simulations, role-playing, and student conferences, enhance the learning experience.
This truly interdisciplinary degree equips students to understand, respond to, and lead their communities in a challenging and changing world. They will benefit from approaches that include behavioral economics, political economy, international relations, sociology, and political philosophy.
