Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sport and Exercise Science

Students start their journey to become a sport scientist with a Sport and Exercise Science degree with Canterbury Christ Church University. Whether they want to delve into industries such as biomechanics, nutrition or sport psychology, this course will prepare them for a range of sectors with its inter-disciplinary course structure.

In Years 1 and 2, students will grasp the fundamentals of sport science. Focusing on psychology, biomechanics, sociology and physiology, students will gain the necessary knowledge needed before exploring their specialism in the final year. Taking this multi-functional approach, students will become competent and confident in a variety of skills including research-methods, client interaction and understanding the varied factors when it comes to exercise science.

What’s more, students will be based in the brand new Verena Homes building which is home to industry-spec, state-of-the-art facilities. These include:
