About Master of Science - Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine

Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine constitute a constantly evolving interdisciplinary field of biomedical research. This field combines the principles of life sciences, biology, and engineering to advance the restoration, replacement, and improvement of diseased and damaged tissues.

The potential of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine is immense, as it can provide treatments for diseases, injuries, and disorders that currently have no viable options available.

The Program offers comprehensive training in this specialized branch of biomedical science, encompassing areas such as stem cell biology, biomaterials, and tissue/organ engineering. The MSc program strikes a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application, serving as a solid foundation for those pursuing a PhD or as a standalone master's qualification.

The program incorporates both lectures and laboratory work, with modules covering topics such as Cellular & Molecular Biology, Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine. It culminates in a hands-on research project spanning five months. Additionally, students have the opportunity to visit relevant clinical settings and collaborate with local industrial partners.
