Program Description

To understand the German language is to understand Germany's rich cultural, historical and literary traditions. The German program at Central Michigan University features classes and integrated study abroad programs with summer, semester and year-long opportunities that will immerse students into German culture. All programs offer courses in German as well as in other academic fields. The German program will prepare students for a career in international businesses and global industries. A German major or minor combines well with other academic disciplines such as history, engineering, international business, biomedical science, political science, journalism or music.
