About Bachelor of Science - Aviation Management - Maintenance Management
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aviation Management degree program provides a comprehensive understanding of aviation management. Students who complete this degree are prepared for a variety of careers in the aviation industry, such as airline, aircraft manufacturer, government agency, airport management, administration, operations, security, planning, aviation business management, terminal management, fixed base operations manager, and airport consulting. Students can concentrate on Aviation Management or Aviation Maintenance Management within the curriculum. The Aviation Maintenance Management emphasis is designed for A&P-certified persons who want to improve their leadership and maintenance management abilities.
This specialization prepares graduates for entry into aviation maintenance and management in the aviation industry or FAA. Students enrolling in this specialization must already possess an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and/or graduation certificate from a Federal Aviation Administration-approved 14 CFR Part 147 school. (Certificate not offered at Central Washington University.)
45 credits of the Airframe and Powerplant certificate will be accepted upon completion of all other degree requirements (core classes).
