Master of Science - Biomedical Sciences – Anatomical and Physiological Sciences

​The Department of Biomedical Sciences is a major location for biomedical education from undergraduate through postdoctorate and for translational biomedical research for Colorado State University.  Faculty members’ interests vary greatly from reproductive biology and endocrinology to neurotransmitters and molecular signal transduction.

The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, Anatomical and Physiological Sciences Specialization, is a one-year, non-thesis, coursework-intensive program, with an emphasis on upper-division and graduate-level coursework in gross anatomy, physiology, and neurobiology. The program can be completed in one year, culminating in written comprehensive exams. It was created to provide increased academic strength to students who aspire to attend professional school; however, it also serves students pursuing various careers in the biomedical sciences by providing them a solid biomedical foundation which can be applied to many career paths. Students must choose one of the following options to focus their studies: human anatomy, neurobiology, or animal anatomy.
