University Transfer (Diploma)

Coquitlam College's two-year University Transfer Diploma program in arts and business gives students the chance to begin specializing in their academic areas of interest. For most university degree programs, this diploma will allow students to enter directly into their third year of study at a British Columbia university of choice. All diploma programs require students to complete 60 to 61 credits. If they have already completed some courses at another institution, students may transfer up to 30 credits toward Coquitlam College's diploma programs. The final three courses (9 credits) must be completed at Coquitlam College.

Arts Program: The two-year (60 – 61 credits) diploma program in arts provides students with a broad education, with special emphasis in humanities and the social sciences. Students may complete a general studies diploma, or may choose to specialize in economics or mathematics. Examples of courses include the following: Economics, Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Sciences and Social Sciences.

Business Program: The two-year (60 credit) diploma program in business is designed to provide the foundation coursework for completion of a university degree in business. Examples of courses include the following: Accounting, Business, Economics, English, Mathematics and Statistics.
