Students can get the perfect start to their degree at De Montfort University with the International Year Zero (IYZ). Students will take an extra year of study at De Montfort University International College (DMUIC) in order to complete a degree at DMU. Students who take the IYZ will continue to the first year of study of their chosen International Incorporated Bachelor's degree programme at DMU.
Video games have eclipsed the film, music and video industries as the dominant entertainment sector in the UK. This course is designed to equip students for roles that require a vocational aptitude in gaming technologies and tools.
Students will gain industry-relevant experience in using different game engines, such as Unity3D, Unreal, CryEngine and Godot. Students will develop their skills in sound engineering and cross-platform development, such as Console, Mobile, Virtual and Augmented Reality.
